Taste: It has a bright acidity, pronounced minerality, and slight effervescence. The palate falls somewhere between lemon zest and green apple with a distinct grassy aroma.

| The hondarrabi is the autochthonous grape with which the txakoli of Getaria is elaborated. It has two varieties: Hondarrabi Zuri (white) and Hondarrabi Beltza (red), being the white the main variety with which the txakoli D.O. Getariako Txakolina is elaborated.
